Congratulations to the Travis Manion Scholarship Recipients

CB Raiders awarded $500 college scholarships to one senior from CB East, CB South and CB West. The award was named in honor of former CB Raider wrestler, Marine first lieutenant Travis Manion, who died in Iraq last year serving his second tour of duty.
After his Raiders career, Manion went on to wrestle at LaSalle High School and to become a nationally ranked wrestler at the U.S. Naval Academy.
The award honors local high school wrestlers who began their wrestling careers with CB Raiders and best exemplify Travis's spirit: leadership, selflessness and dedication.

Post-Season Wrestling
The post-season is in full swing. Check out Raiders results here and be sure to send in your tournament finishes.
Good luck to all Raiders!
Wrestling is a natural sport
for youngsters--just go into your living room to see kids
wrestling each other for fun.
No matter your favorite sport, wrestling
will help you become a better athlete.
- Self-Discipline
It takes will and determination to get through tough practices.
- Self-Reliance
Out there on the mat, you're on your own.
- Self-Esteem
There's nothing like taking on a challenge and meeting it
to build confidence.
- Strength
Ounce for ounce, no athlete is
stronger than an experienced wrestler.
- Speed
Wrestling improves hand-eye coordination,
fine-tunes footwork and teaches split-second decision making.
- Sportsmanship
Each individual contributes to the match
score. Win for yourself AND the team.
Become a part of a winning
tradition.
Practices begin in November; matches begin in
December and run through the year-end Intramural and East Penn
League tournaments in mid-February.
- A Place for Everyone
Wrestlers compete against opponents their own size.
Even small kids can become big winners.
- Full-Body Conditioning
Our practices strengthen both upper AND lower body muscle
groups and develop agility, flexibility and balance.
- Personal Instruction
CB Raiders coaches give individual attention to all their
wrestlers, from novice to advanced. Each team features low
coach-to-wrestler ratios.
